AxxonSoft wins business, mindshare at IFSEC International 2014

06/26/2014

Held from 17 to 19 July, IFSEC International 2014, a prominent world-class event on innovative security technologies, has recently wrapped up in London.

Every year IFSEC International attracts the best manufacturers, installers, distributors, experts, and end users of security systems from all over the world.

This year, the annual event was held in the British capital for the first time, making it more prominent and accessible for visitors. The experiment has been a wild success, with organizers planning to hold the next IFSEC International in London as well.

For end users, the exhibition is a unique opportunity to peruse the latest and most effective technologies, which gives them the information they need to articulate a vision that meets the requirements of their specific sites and discuss it with industry professionals.

The three-day event saw an enormous number of guests from all over Europe as well as the Middle East, Africa, Brazil, Australia, and elsewhere.

The AxxonSoft stand was full of guests and participants during all three days. Guests were able to see in action the new version 3.6 of the open-platform Axxon VMS video management software (VMS), which features the latest continuing advancements from AxxonSoft in ease of use, functionality, effectiveness, and robustness.

The audience was highly impressed by analytics in Axxon VMS, particularly TimeCompressor motion events summary of recorded video, and interactive 3D maps with immersion mode, which allow instantly determining the location of the camera relevant to an alarm and visualizing object movement in real space. Enormous interest was also drawn by MomentQuest2, the company's exclusive technology for near-instant forensic search of recorded video, capable of pinpointing video based on dynamic visual criteria in just seconds.

Professionals made special note of support in the Axxon VMS interface for touchscreen monitors, which offers additional options for system operators that are unavailable with competing solutions.

Demonstrations included hardware produced by AxxonSoft partners: Axis, Bosch, Arecont Vision, Brickcom + ImmerVision, JVC, Sony, EverFocus, iCantek, Riva, Vivotek, 3sVision, Opgal, Sunell, and Dahua. The company made appearances at other stands as well: Alan Ataev, Global Sales Director at AxxonSoft, held a well-attended presentation at the Vivotek booth about Axxon VMS 3.6 video management software.

In addition, the AxxonSoft stand demonstrated industry-specific vertical solutions that strongly appeal to professionals and end customers: Auto PSIM for vehicle access control, traffic management, and traffic violation recording, an updated version of Face PSIM for facial recognition, and POS PSIM for comprehensive monitoring and analytics for retailers.

Two of the advantages that made AxxonSoft products stand out are process automation and flexibility: scripts allow performing flexible pre-defined reactions to specific events and can be created by system administrators.

A number of current and potential AxxonSoft partners met for negotiations regarding exceptionally promising projects that are either ongoing or planned.

"IFSEC International was an enormous success for us. We held important talks with a number of partners, which will help us to buttress our regional position as well as strengthen existing partner relationships. The AxxonSoft stand received a great number of visitors on all three days, and I think this speaks to the interest in our products. Many of the visitors were interested in our partner program and the possibility of receiving training in AxxonSoft products in the near future. We were also pleased to see current partners and distributors bringing clients to our stand to demonstrate solutions that combine our software with partner and distributor hardware. These joint solutions offer significant feature expansion at a competitive price,"

explained Alan Ataev, Global Sales Director at AxxonSoft.
